Somewhere among all of the liberal indoctrination, journalism schools probably still teach aspiring reporters to use the word “alleged” until a suspect is tried and convicted. As far as we know, though, Alec Baldwin’s very public Twitter meltdown, in which he threatened a Daily Mail reporter, wasn’t a crime. The jury at GLAAD found Baldwin not guilty of a hate crime after he testified that “toxic little queen” doesn’t mean the same thing in his culture as it does in ours.
ABC World News’ David Muir apparently thought he’d err on the safe side, just in case the entire world misinterpreted Baldwin’s remarks as somehow being anti-gay.
