Glenn Beck isn’t defending the comments that contributed to Paula Deen’s exit from Food Network, but he is defending her right to free speech. And just to prove he means it, Beck reiterated his belief that even Bill Maher should have the right to be Bill Maher.
Read again. WHO CARES WHAT PAULA SAID OR BILL MAHR?! Let people speak. Stop silencing people!I despise her words… AND? Stop word police!

@glennbeck After Maher's hateful comments about the Palin family, he has no say in this matter. What he said was worse!

@glennbeck What Paula Deen said was stupid and racist. But she did apologize. Allow for shame AND redemption at least once if sorry.

@glennbeck no one arrested her. Removing people who sponsors don't want to back is the free market at work, no?

@glennbeck free speech doesn't protect you from public opinion or private sector repercussions.

@glennbeck Correct, she can say what she wants, albeit unpopular to the majority but that's her right, lots of fake outrage out there.

Maher defended her right to work and speak. Don't you see? All should come together. Bill says hateful stuff. He has a right. Defend SPEECH
