Whoa, hold the presses! This is some seriously important breaking news from the Associated Press that makes a strong case the president outright lied about Obamacare:
Many people who buy their own health insurance could get surprises in the mail this fall: cancellation notices because their current policies aren’t up to the basic standards of President Barack Obama’s health care law.
They, and some small businesses, will have to find replacement plans — and that has some state insurance officials worried about consumer confusion.
The president himself assured the nation that if you like your health care plan, you can keep it, so what’s this headline about losing our health care policies? Did anyone foresee that happening? OK, millions did, but it’s quaint that someone at the Associated Press finally caught on. Actor Nick Searcy wishes the warning had come a little bit sooner.
