"Let’s hope the Boston Marathon bomber is a white American" is an actual headline of an actual column written by someone at Salon.

Typical David Sirota nonsense. This is why we think the left is NUTS http://t.co/ds6zkbKgIa

Salon contributor and perpetual race-baiter David Sirota has an amazing gift: he can write and publish something so outrageous that it temporarily takes the heat off of the actual Boston Marathon bomber, whoever that may be. His latest trick? Cutting and pasting his “white male privilege” boilerplate text into an article hoping that the Boston Marathon bomber is white, male and American. Why? You’re welcome to read the whole piece, but here’s a sample to test the strength of your gag reflex.
If recent history is any guide, if the bomber ends up being a white anti-government extremist, white privilege will likely mean the attack is portrayed as just an isolated incident — one that has no bearing on any larger policy debates. Put another way, white privilege will work to not only insulate whites from collective blame, but also to insulate the political debate from any fallout from the attack.
Speaking of being insulated from fallout, why does Salon keep publishing Sirota? White privilege? It’s certainly not the fan mail.
This is so beyond insane in so many ways–> "Let’s hope the Boston Marathon bomber is a white American" http://t.co/LaT1Ib2uho via @Salon

A ridiculous post about race in the aftermath of an attack. Yes, it's David Sirota: http://t.co/bsiqfXwhFn

Do I have to condemn this Sirota piece or is it sufficient to give it side-eye? http://t.co/aHRs7biDaJ
— southpaw (@nycsouthpaw) April 17, 2013
I'll just go ahead and condemn it to be on the safe side. This is asinine bullshit. http://t.co/aHRs7biDaJ

The best thing about Salon’s obsession with race is how pasty-white their writing staff is.
— RBe (@RBPundit) April 17, 2013
Funniest part of the @davidsirota piece: he writes of "white privilege" as if @salon is the Jet magazine of the political world

@RBPundit Chris Matthews hangs out at @Salon when he wants to feel ethnic.

#SalonHeadlines. I'm David Sirota and I'm sorry I'm white and privileged. I'll make up for it by being a liberal jackass.

My "hope' was that it was an accidental gas explosion, not an ethnic profile. But then again, I'm not a complete and utter imbecile.

Congrats to @davidsirota for having both the most callous article on Boston & the absolute D-baggiest avatar ever. http://t.co/vgozNfoBec

Hi @davidsirota. weren't the last five white male bombers that managed to get convicted all members of left wing Occupy?
— Bob Owens (@bob_owens) April 17, 2013
Why yes, yes they were.
@DavidLimbaugh @Salon liberals have been salivating at the prospect that there could be political gains from this tragedy. Sad, but reality
