It was just last week that Arizona Sen. John McCain toured the U.S.-Mexico border, where he watched a woman climb an 18-foot border fence. This week it’s Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz’s turn to tour the border, but as he illustrated with photos, the “path to citizenship” has handrails, and not all fences are 18 feet high.

@jasoninthehouse How many leaps does it take for a US Congressman to leap a 'high security' border fence?

@jasoninthehouse What ever happened to the 700 mile double layer border fence? No amnesty Jason! #SHAMNESTY

If you think that fence is inadequate, you ain’t seen nothing yet. So, here are some pictures of nothing.
No fence on this part of the border. It is a walkway and stairs. pic.twitter.com/AepousiI7C

Don’t let McCain see those stairs; the country just can’t afford to be building escalators at the border right now.

As Chaffetz tweeted, problems at the border aren’t limited to Mexico.
