We remember when a man would ask a woman’s father for permission to ask for her hand in marriage, but Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) loaned out his Twitter account for a marriage proposal. The groom-to-be apparently signed up for a Twitter account for just this purpose, as he’s tweeted only twice: he made those characters count, though.
