Tomorrow night is Oscar night, and following tradition, the U.S. State Department has cast its vote for Best Picture. Just kidding… or not? We forget sometimes that the “JK” in State Department tweets means that Secretary of State John Kerry has sent out the tweet personally. Is Kerry about to start an international incident by rooting for good buddy Ben Affleck?
@StateDept William Seward was secretary of state! Why not root for "Lincoln"?????

Kerry did see the film, right? The State Department didn’t exactly save the day.

@StateDept @benaffleck Too bad the movie is Hollywood pap, giving CIA false credit instead of Canada who were real heroes.

Whatever: the State Department’s lobby looked awesome on screen.
Did you know @BenAffleck filmed scenes from #Oscar-nominated #Argo in the @StateDept? See the crew in our lobby: http://t.co/0FlX0lBKPL
