It was inevitable that Bill Maher would weigh in on Pope Benedict XVI’s unexpected resignation, but if he’s going to try to get in a tasteless joke or two, he’s going to have to get up earlier. The Washington Post’s Chris Cillizza did the Sarah Palin line over 12 hours ago, and it wasn’t funny then either.
