Jim Carrey claims Obama's done 'surprisingly well' despite 'insane' partisanship

“Dumb and Dumber To” isn’t due in theaters until 2014, but star Jim Carrey gave a quick teaser tonight with his reserved praise of President Obama. While he didn’t go so far as to call Obama “the light and the future,” he did say he prefers the incumbent in this election.

Perhaps his agent sent him a copy of Morgan Freeman’s script that claimed that “few [presidents] have faced so many” challenges as Obama — who enjoyed two years of Democrat majorities in the House and Senate. And damn those Republicans from preventing Obama’s budgets from getting a single vote from either party. Now that’s insane partisan resistance.
