While some wondered if moderator Bob Schieffer had dozed off at points during Monday’s third and final presidential debate, it appears that MSNBC’s Chris Matthews might have fallen asleep as well. Shaken awake to comment on the previous 90 minutes, Matthews quickly grabbed a race card out of his jacket pocket, declaring that a racist Southern right-wingers hated President Obama more than al-Qaeda.
