Andrea Mitchell still fretting over Obama debate performance, promises Romney 'misstatements'

NBC’s Andrea Mitchell, who helpfully offered to fact-check the first presidential debate on behalf of “real journalists” everywhere, found herself carrying heavier buckets of water than usual the next day. It was only then that President Obama had the chance to deliver his witty rejoinders on Big Bird, which she praised as the president at last “finding his voice.”

Days later, Mitchell is still fretting that so many millions of voters missed the chance Wednesday night to see Obama “attacking Romney facts.”

She has her fingers firmly crossed for Thursday’s vice presidential debate, though, as Team Obama has assured her it has more Romney “misstatements to drop.”

To be fair? Please!
