Dr. Ruth Westheimer is warning Larry King to stay out of her field — and that field is vaginas. Note that Dr. Ruth’s field isn’t reading comprehension, apparently, but the results of her Twitter fail are comedy gold.
First, despite what Westheimer claims, Larry King didn’t tweet that “Republican women care more about their vaginas.” What he did was tweet a link to a panel discussion in which Meghan McCain argues that Republican women care about more than just their vaginas — a fact that plenty of conservative women made perfectly clear after the Obama campaign, through its Tumblr page, encouraged women to vote with their #LadyParts. Pro tip: those women dressed as vaginas at the Republican National Convention? Those were Code Pink protesters, not GOP delegates.

Not only that, but Westheimer responded to the wrong Twitter handle (it’s @KingsThings, with an “s”). Who wants to be the one to forward Dr. Ruth’s warning to the real Larry King?

Well, McCain didn’t say that, exactly, but what she did say — women care about jobs and the economy too, not just birth control and abortion — is well worth hearing.
