Soon after the confetti cannons fired to mark the end of President Obama’s acceptance speech Thursday night, supporters launched the disturbing #IfObamaDontWin hashtag, painting an alternate universe where Vice President Joe Biden’s “back in chains” remark is taken literally. Lady Gaga soon picked up the ball and passed it to her nearly 30 million followers, saying she’d build a new planet and live there.
Conservatives at last decided to have their say, first offering to help Gaga pack and then turning the conversation back to reality.
