A new poll by Gallup says in the U.S., 7.2 percent of adults identify as LGBT, but nearly 20 percent of Gen Z identify as LGBT.
Nearly 20% of Gen Z is LGBT.
That’s ~1 in 5 people pic.twitter.com/6UM2yFrYKM

That’s funny … with Baby Boomers and Traditionalists, the number is very low and pretty consistent from 2014 to 2022. But look at that spike in Gen Z! The conventional wisdom is that you’re born gay, so how does that explain the surge?
Anyway, that was a Gallup poll from a couple of days ago. The Hill is reporting that a new report from the Centers for Disease Control has found that one in four high school students identifies as LGBT.

Twenty-five percent of high school students are LGBTQ? Lexi Lonas reports:
About 1 in 4 high school students identifies as LGBTQ, according to a report the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released on Thursday, using data from 2021.
…
Among high school students, 12.2 percent identified as bisexual, 5.2 percent as questioning, 3.9 percent as other, 3.2 percent as gay or lesbian and 1.8 percent said they didn’t understand the question.
The CDC says the number of LGBTQ students went from 11 percent in 2015 to 26 percent in 2021.
Hold up … the number of LGBTQ students went from 11 percent to 26 percent in six years?

Almost like it's a social contagion completely spawned by peer pressure and environmental factors. Who could have guessed?

Til they want to go out on a date. Then their actual sexual preference will take precedence real quick.

It's a Social Construct

A lot of impressionable younglings looking for acceptance from someone, anyone.

Sounds trendy and fashionable.

No way. This has to be slanted. I work with high school students daily and this can't be correct. You wouldn't be trying to push an agenda, now would you @thehill?

One in four high school students have been convinced to hate their bodies, hate themselves, their parents, and anyone who doesn't believe they are a fluid transgender binary furry.

But it’s totally not a social contagion that’s been promoted in schools.

Because it now grants them power via intersectionality.

The outcome of a steady diet and curriculum of critical theory and queer theory by teachers with an agenda that were indoctrinated in college by same communist subversion and critical theories + social contagion.

Perfectly normal, nothing to do with the subversive gender ideologies being taught in schools
— Pertinax (@NToasts) April 27, 2023
Or the picture books telling first graders that doctors “guess” your sex when you’re born and don’t always guess correctly. Or the belief that a girl who plays with toy cars is pretty obviously transgender.
Young, impressionable kids going thru hormonal imbalances, confusion, etc are being targeted in what's essentially an LGBTQ advertising campaign. It isn't genetics anymore like once claimed…it's become a choice.
— Trollbot 5000 (@JRStew4) April 27, 2023
If it is genetics, someone explain the spike in the number of babies who are born gay.
Among the students surveyed, 57 percent said they’d had no sexual contact. As someone said above, they might “identify” as bi or questioning until they enter a sexual relationship with the opposite sex.
