Police have confirmed that Covenant School shooter Audrey Hale left behind a manifesto. We were hoping it would have leaked by now, as it’s probably the only way we’ll see it unedited. Hale reportedly had other targets on her list and even went to another one first only to find it too well protected by security. Who else was she going to murder?
Police also confirmed Monday that Hale identified as transgender, which they probably got from the manifesto; or, they got it from Twitter, where the news was already making the rounds.
Newsweek says that LGBTQ+ groups have said that releasing Hale’s manifesto could have “serious consequences.” Yeah, six people are already dead … what serious consequences did they have in mind?
LGBTQ+ groups told Newsweek that publishing the manifesto from the perpetrator of Monday's school shooting could have "serious consequences." Nashville Police said it won't make the manifesto public "during an open investigation." https://t.co/Vr6Xd7NMb0

Katherine Fung reports:
“It should not be published,” Jordan Budd, the executive director of Children of Lesbians and Gays Everywhere (COLAGE), told Newsweek. “The focus should be on how this was able to happen in the first place. There should not be such easy access to deadly weaponry.”
…
“Regardless of the shooter’s intentions, the real issue here is the ease of access to deadly weapons in Tennessee and elsewhere,” Budd said, adding, “All children, no matter who their parents are or how they identify, should feel safe and supported at school. That includes a world free from gun violence.”
Charles Moran, the national president of Log Cabin Republicans, said there would be “serious consequences” if the shooter were given “additional glorification.”
Only one reason they want it hidden…

Yes more information is always harmful. The more in the dark we keep people the safer we are. Thank you Government for telling me what to read and think so I don’t have to 🙏

It must be released so the public can see how people are being radicalized
— Down & Out (@TinCanChalice) March 28, 2023
Are they afraid how bad they’ll look?
— #DingerNation (@Flame_Volunteer) March 28, 2023
If the public is to make informed decisions about our society, we need complete information. Disclose the manifesto.

The world is long past caring about whether there are serious public relations consequences to LGBTQ+ activists.
— Aedwyne de León (@EMPDL) March 28, 2023
Serious consequences? They are threatening people for wanting to know the truth
— Jordy Wales (@jordy_wales) March 28, 2023
There's a reason these groups oppose releasing the manifesto – it will be a regurgitation of the talking points of these groups.

It should be released so people can know the truth about these activist terrorists. And the victims should sue these activist organizations in the same manner Sandy Hook parents sued the gun maker.

Yes. For example it might break the stranglehold that trans ideologues have on our society.
How horrible.
— Fredgiblet 🇺🇸 (@fredgiblet) March 28, 2023
They don’t want it released because it will show how radicalized this group of people are becoming.
— Elizabeth (@Sarah_FU46) March 28, 2023
Wild. They’re hiding their involvement.
— Echo (@IJCFilm) March 28, 2023
Afraid for the public to see what's behind the curtain of militant trans activism.
— CN (@comp_napper) March 28, 2023
And right before the Trans Day of Vengeance, too.
Ah, don't wanna give away the surprise yet, huh?
— TJ. New Tommy account (@FearTheStingTJ) March 28, 2023
Perhaps it should have serious consequences.
— Scoot4par (@Scoot4par) March 28, 2023
Serious consequences? like a trans person going and murdering children consequences or?
Do journalists usually back down like a bitch when threatened? https://t.co/3yMjanEpQ8

Some say police shouldn’t grant the shooter her last wish by publishing her manifesto, but we want to see it, no matter what LGBTQ+ groups think.
