We went to search CNN’s website for recent stories about the transportation secretary, but instead, it pulled up these two stories. The first: “How to pronounce Pete Buttigieg”. The second, and much funnier one from November 2019 regarding the presidential candidate: “Is Pete Buttigieg peaking too soon?”
Brian Stelter took a look around his old stomping grounds and found an interesting tidbit he wanted to share. You know that President Joe Biden is a man of the working class who grew up in a Puerto Rican neighborhood in Scranton. But what about … Fox News host Tucker Carlson? Buttigieg tells CNN it’s “really rich” to see “lifelong card-carrying members of the East Coast elite” pretending that they care about the middle of the country. “You think Tucker Carlson knows the difference between a T.J. Maxx and a Kohl’s.” No, these elites “wouldn’t know their way around a T.J. Maxx if their life depended on it.”

Edward-Isaac Dovere writes that Buttigieg “came into the Cabinet knowing this would be an odd transition – he’s the only winner of the Iowa caucuses and one-time Jimmy Kimmel guest host to take a lower-level Cabinet job.”
Now, to the left, the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, is the corporatist compromiser without the vision or guts to go as big as he should. To the right, he is the embodiment of elitist abandonment of real Americans, hopped up on his own grandiosity, who thinks more about social engineering than transportation.

They’re right.
This is a trick question. There is no difference between TJ Maxx and Kohl's. https://t.co/cU38oxHb8p

Mayor Pete’s presidential strategy is courting the TJ Maxx voter by going after a Fox News host they’ve never heard of?

Tucker is not exactly a “tax cuts for the rich” guy. This is grasping.

When was the last time Mayor Pete went to Kohl’s

I’m just picturing Chasten at the checkout counter with the twins saying “I have Kohl’s Cash for that”😂

It was a shot at Fox News and Carlson, so, yeah, he came out of hibernation.

He admitted to being wrong and this is your take? LMFAO

Pete was a diversity hire and he’s failed at doing the job. All the deflection in the world, Tucker or otherwise, isn’t going to change that. He’s in way over his head. Resign, and let’s move on.

In his interview, Buttigieg said “he should have gone to East Palestine, Ohio, earlier. He said he failed to anticipate the political fallout from the toxic train derailment, despite months of transportation problems like mass flight cancellations and an air traffic control system shutdown that left many Americans frustrated.”
But let’s talk about Tucker Carlson not knowing his way around a T.J. Maxx.
