This is embarrassing. At the beginning of the Biden administration, there was a detail in a story about how President Joe Biden had something like 30 staff members dedicated to social media. There was no question that President Donald Trump wrote his own tweets, and there’s no question that Biden has a room full of 20-somethings composing his tweets. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene stood up and shouted “Liar!” during the State of the Union address when Biden said Republicans wanted to do away with Social Security and Medicare, a scare tactic Democrats have been using for ages.
On Thursday, Biden decided to double down:
I know that for a lot of Republicans on the Hill their dream is to cut Social Security and Medicare.
Well, let me say this.
If that’s your dream, I'm your nightmare.
— President Biden (@POTUS) February 9, 2023
“A lot of Republicans.” Like whom? And “I’m your nightmare”? An 80-year-old pathological liar?
This is an absolute fucking lie that got booed in person during the State of the Union.
— Tim Young (@TimRunsHisMouth) February 9, 2023
You deserved to be booed. Get better lines, you senile troll.
— John Hawkins (@johnhawkinsrwn) February 9, 2023
You should challenge them to a pushup contest.
— Matthew Kolken (@mkolken) February 9, 2023
The nightmare part is accurate.
— Libertarian Party (@LPNational) February 9, 2023
You’re a nightmare alright.
— Jason “Storm Chaser” Nelson (@Storm4Congress) February 9, 2023
This is so cringe omg
— Liz Finnegan (@TheGingerarchy) February 9, 2023
You are right. You are a nightmare.
High gas prices.
High food prices.
High everything.
Weakness on dealing with China and Russia.#BidensAmerica is a nightmare.— Joshua Niday (@JoshuaNiday_) February 9, 2023
I thought this was resolved at the SOTU, but here you are, continuing the lie.
Embarrassing.
— Jack Lombardi II (@JackLombardi) February 9, 2023
A flat out lie. Biden knows it's a lie, but repeats it anyway. Speaker McCarthy said cuts are off the table.
He's trying to distract from the fact that his inflationary agenda has forced 1 million seniors into poverty. That and his total hypocrisy on the debt limit.
— Tommy Pigott (@TommyPigott) February 9, 2023
🤦♂️ This guy got boo'ed and shamed during the SOTU last night, until he had to admit that it is like one person pushing for this. He got caught exaggerating to the point of lying and they still post this today like it didn't happen. Hanging onto BS til their last breaths.

Congratulations to the 24 year old, social media intern pretending to be Joe Biden for reaching a completely new plateau of cringe and embarrassment.
— Kevin Dalton (@TheKevinDalton) February 9, 2023
Dude, you're trying this lie for too long, but it's not working. Try something else.
— Joel Fischer 🇺🇸 (@realJoelFischer) February 9, 2023
This lie has been refuted live on national TV.
— DanOnBoard (@DanOnBoard11) February 9, 2023
This is the cringiest tweet I’ve ever seen.
— AMC 2 Moon (@AMC_Apee) February 9, 2023
Who wrote this for you?
— DavidJose (@RealDaveCares4u) February 9, 2023
This you bro? pic.twitter.com/l6fhUa61Uu
— Spud Juice (@OddreyMonkey) February 9, 2023
Were you at the SOTU??? It appears that you were not.
— Jonathan🇺🇸 (@jonnygroves) February 9, 2023
For such a triumphant State of the Union address, it’s telling that they have to double down on the biggest lie of the night.
