Speaker Kevin McCarthy says it best, but we all know the January 6 select committee was a show trial that brought in a former TV producer from ABC to turn its first prime-time televised hearing into a blockbuster event. They showed a highlights clip of January 6, but let’s face it — anyone who’s been online has seen footage the committee left out.
McCarthy told reporters Thursday that he’s open to releasing all of the footage from January 6:
