We can argue whether or not the death penalty is a good thing — our thoughts are usually with the victim, although some women were wearing pink lipstick and nail polish Tuesday in solidarity with Amber McLaughlin, who made history as the first transgender person executed in the United States and the first “woman” executed in Missouri. It’s weird to show solidarity with a woman who raped her ex-girlfriend and stabbed her to death repeatedly.
Rep. Cori Bush, who’s getting two posts on Twitchy today, says that Missouri has chosen to uphold violence over mercy.
