This isn’t the first of these we’ve seen, but we thought in light of Twitter 2.0, we’d feature this one. Apparently, German law requires Twitter to provide notice to users who have been reported by people from Germany, so if you’re ever reported by someone from Germany, Twitter sends you a notice of your offensive tweets.
Here’s Twitchy favorite @Oilfield_Rando showing off a couple of tweets that made the Germans mad — something about calling them cowards.
Haha they are REALLY trying to get me off here huh pic.twitter.com/LRAphF7WaJ

Here’s the note in full:
Twitter has investigated and found the tweets aren’t subject to removal under German law. Well isn’t that special?
Germans: "Why would you not trust the government to do the right thing?"
Goldfish memory: "They have a point"

I take the messages from Germany as a point of pride. I only wish that I could e-mail the responsible bureaucrat so that I could remind him he only speaks German because we let him.

Stay strong brother.

See nothing wrong in those tweets.

I constantly get emails from Germany of people offended by my tweets and reporting me. They love daddy tyrant to govern them.

Glad to see that someone who doesn't live in Germany is not in violation of German law. Because German law matters somehow when you do live or visit there.

Didn’t we already teach them to mind their own business?

I don’t see a thing wrong with your comment tho…👀

I follow you, but never saw these tweets in my timeline, which is unfortunate because that kind of content is what I'm here for.

Germans wanting to restrict gun advocacy. Never seen that before.

They’re not big on “misgendering” either:
Lol..Germans. pic.twitter.com/ap5RwY1T6z

It's funny, but not funny, because they are sending you the "complaint" to try and modify your behavior, without officially suspending you. I don't like being played with and really don't give a shit about some whiny ass liberal getting butt hurt over something I type.

So every Karen in Germany gets the government to inform you of their displeasure with a tweet? Credit to Twitter for doing the right thing here and keeping the tweets up.
