Twitter owner Elon Musk asked Friday, “What do you think of the culture war?” While declaring himself neither conventionally right nor left, he did say “the woke mind virus” needs a counter-narrative. As you all know, progressives, if they had their way, would have us all living in tightly packed apartments (or even adult dormitories or cubbies), riding bicycles anywhere we needed to go, and eating bugs. They really do keep harping on the eating bugs thing.
In the past, CNN has introduced us to BirthStrike, a group of women so undone by climate change that they’ve vowed not to procreate. Now the New York Times is featuring the founder of the Voluntary Human Extinction movement, Les Knight:
“May we live long and die out,” says Les Knight, the founder of the Voluntary Human Extinction movement.
He is among those who believe that overpopulation is a main factor in the climate crisis. But that idea can be fraught. https://t.co/YsBcP20riK

We already did the population scare in 1968 with the publication of “The Population Bomb,” when there were only 3.5 billion people on earth.
Why do these clowns always stick around when they could easily reduce the population by one?
literally nothing is stopping this man from leading by example

Why is he still around, then?

Ultimate virtue signal. As virtue signaling usually goes, this one is full of hypocrisy.

These anti-human existence people seem strangely reluctant to get the ball rolling.

Substance aside because this is exactly the fringey junk that NYT alienates readers, can that idea just be fraught? @jdflynn

That the mind virus is pushing humanity towards extinction is not hyperbole pic.twitter.com/1BaiMRSvAy

They’re just openly saying it now.

"…adherents do not support mass murder or forced birth control, nor do they encourage suicide".
But by living to such an old age, aren't you using the Earth's resources, that by not living, would be saved?
Not much for adherents to tip into more extremist tendencies.

Overpopulation is this biggest lie to come out of the boomer psyche of the 70s green movement. Notice how in typical boomer fashion he is terrified of death with the whole "live long" thing. It's the same reason for all the COVID measures.

They got to live a life of carefree hendoism, but the moment they come face to face with their own mortality everything has to shut down.

If everyone who thinks the earth is overpopulated would go jump off a cliff, the problem would be solved both ways. They wouldn't be here to worry about it anymore, there would be fewer people on the earth, and the rest of us can go on living our lives.

Head to Canada brother they’ll give you a hand with this

They’re worried about “extremism” on Twitter, but the New York Post thinks nothing of doing a glowing profile of a man who wants all humans purged from the planet.
