NBC News has really been on top of the mass shooting at Club Q in Colorado Springs. Well, maybe not the shooting itself or the shooter. Reporters like Brandy Zadrozny and Ben Collins have been reporting on those “far-right” voices like Libs of TikTok and Tucker Carlson for creating an anti-LGBTQ environment in which such a shooting could happen. Again, these aren’t opinion contributors or media reporters; they’re allegedly responsible for reporting the straight-up news.
In one of its straight-news stories, NBC News is reporting that right-wingers are doubling down on anti-LGBTQ rhetoric in the wake of the Club Q shooting.

Tell us more, Ben Goggin and Kat Tenbarge:
Alejandra Caraballo, a clinical instructor at Harvard Law School’s Cyberlaw Clinic, said that the repetitive messaging from [Tucker] Carlson and others has opened the door for violence against LGBTQ people.
“The way they soften up the support for this kind of violence is essentially by making it seem morally justified in the minds of people who believe this,” Caraballo said. “The way they do this is by constantly painting LGBT people as pedophiles and groomers, and so people feel morally justified in carrying out this violence.”
Oh, we’re familiar with Alejandra Caraballo, an LGBTQ activist who’s charged Libs of Tiktok, Matt Walsh, and Christopher Rufo with using Twitter to drive “stochastic terrorism” against children’s hospitals. Funny NBC News doesn’t mention her activism or what it has to do with cyberlaw.
Libs of TikTok, a prominent conservative social media brand created by Chaya Raichik that has 1.5 million followers on Twitter and focuses on the LGBTQ community, proceeded with its usual practices on the platform Sunday and Monday, republishing videos and posts from LGBTQ creators with smaller followings and opening them up to harassment and criticism. In one post Sunday, the account focused on Colorado specifically, highlighting a nonprofit that hosts events for kids interested in drag.
And? That’s not doubling down … it’s doing the same thing she’s always done: repost videos.

We’re tired of it. “Republicans should pull all their campaign ads after the hammer attack on Paul Pelosi.” “Libs of TikTok should repost a photo of dildo ring-toss at a family-friendly pride event or LGBTQ people will be targeted.” “If you oppose gender-affirming surgery on minors, you’re just making it more likely they’ll commit suicide.” In other words, agree with our agenda completely or people will die.

Why does NBC News think LGBT people are groomers?

There is no problem with the majority of people against LGBTQ. There wasn't an issue, until you forced down our throats and started teaching it to our kids with out our knowledge. That's where the line was drawn.

Reporting news isn’t inflammatory…

Question: Would NBC News ever do a story questioning kindergarten teachers leading class discussions on gender identity and sexual orientation? Is that anti-LGBT?
