CBS News lays out the criteria for you to be considered an 'election denier'

If you follow CBS News congressional correspondent Scott MacFarlane on Twitter, you’ll know that his beat seems to consist entirely of January 6 arrests and trials. Election denial is his thing, so CBS News brought him on to show a handy chart of the criteria that define an “election denier,” a term we’ve heard a lot about, especially from our president, who’s concerned about the election deniers up and down the ballot this election. By now you’ve seen the video of Democrats, including Biden, denying election results for 10 straight minutes.

Molly Hemingway caught a screenshot of MacFarlane’s criteria. If you supported an audit of the 2020 election, you’re likely an election denier. If you repeated “disproven” claims of fraud on social media, you’re an election denier. Remember, MacFarlane’s colleague at CBS News, Major Garrett, tells us that the 2020 election was “the greatest success of American democracy in history.” It’s odd, don’t you think, how the results of the 2020 election are ironclad, and yet the 2022 midterms are already being set up as fraudulent … by the president in his speech Tuesday evening.

If you watch the clip, you’ll notice that MacFarlane focuses exclusively on Republicans and the 2020 election and completely avoids the 2018 election in Georgia or the 2016 election that brought us President Trump.

Tells us there won’t be any Democrat election deniers next week. Or the week after that … they’re tellings us it will be “multiple days” before we know who actually won.

We’ll be hearing plenty about “voter suppression” next week, especially in Jim Crow Georgia but anywhere the Democrat loses.
