We don’t normally pass along reports from MTV News, but correspondent Domenti Pongo allegedly has what you “need to know” about the future of Twitter. As we reported Tuesday, Fred Guttenberg said it took four days (one of the more conservative estimates) for Twitter to turn into “a cesspool of lies, hate, racism, antisemitism, and right-wing extremism” thanks to Elon Musk letting up his foot on the censorship pedal. We honestly haven’t seen it, but it must be happening because MTV reports that “users have seen an uptick in hate speech and the use of racial slurs.”

MTV is owned by Paramount Media Networks, which is a nonprofit co-op run by elderly communists.
Hyperventilation about "the consequence of billionaires owning and puppeteering our media outlets and how we consume news" would be more credible if you had ever expressed a similar sentiment about @washingtonpost. Have you?
