President Joe Biden was in Colorado Wednesday declaring a national monument. As the New York Times reported this week, Biden is the “storyteller in chief” who “spins yarns that often unravel.” We’re not sure we believe his stories about teaching his family to ski there and then talking about it over dinner back at home.
As he so often does, Biden brought up his deceased son Beau, who died at Walter Reed hospital of brain cancer in 2015. According to the president Wednesday, his son actually died in Iraq, not Maryland.
President @JoeBiden incorrectly said his late son Beau "lost his life in Iraq." https://t.co/oZ9GRyRjcI pic.twitter.com/8OvjbQgUaT

This reminds us of his interview with George Stephanopoulos in 2021 where he said that Beau “spent six months in Kosovo and a year in Iraq as a Navy captain and then major– I mean, as an Army major. And, you know, I’m sure h– he had regrets comin’ out of Afganista– I mean, out of Iraq.”
Spinning a folksy yarn

Not enough to exploit personal tragedy for political gain, he has to embellish it as well. Utterly shameless.

Serious question. Does he now believe this to be true? Or does he know he is lying?

Conspicuous service medal?

Beau was awarded a Bronze Star.
For service.
Not for valor.

One doesn’t “WIN” the Bronze Star Medal, nor is there any such thing as a “Conspicuous Service Medal.” GOOD GRIEF.

He died at Walter Reed.

This is, in my opinion, the most disgusting lie this man has ever told.

“Incorrectly said”
As he’s been “incorrectly saying” for decades that his first wife was killed by a drunk driver.
He’s always been a fraud.— Gibbsville Man (@GibbsvilleMan) October 12, 2022
Incorrectly? He flat out lied for political reasons. He’s on record his entire career lying about his life from his law school to being a truck driver and now this. Dishonors his son and he doesn’t get that
— JamesTiberius (@TheBigJamesG) October 12, 2022
Why must he always inject himself or his family in almost every speech with lots of hyperbole?
— rlbryan (@RaynetteBryan) October 12, 2022
Every event in this man’s life is material to be molded and used to bolster the his self-serving political narrative.
— FiatLux (@MikeMikewelch3) October 12, 2022
This old bastard has been lying to us for 50 years.
— El Jefe (@ChrisAxtman11) October 12, 2022
I feel bad for his loss….but how can “incorrectly” stand up there and say his son lost his life in Iraq, he did of brain cancer.

Brain cancer that he got from those burn pits in Afghanistan.
