Rep. Adam Kinzinger says Republican 'crazies' will try to impeach President Biden 'every week' if they take the House

There was a glimmer of hope there for a few moments when President Joe Biden was enjoying a series of wins, such as the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act. It looked to desperate Democrats that the momentum heading into the midterms was finally turning around to favor them and that a red wave wasn’t inevitable. We’re still betting on that red wave, and Rep. Adam Kinzinger of the January 6 select committee won’t be around to ride it even if that were still possible. He’ll be put out to pasture on MSNBC or something.

This isn’t the first time Kinzinger has addressed Republicans as “crazies.” He tweeted a thread to all of the crazies who thought that Ray Epps was working for the FBI. (Funny how January 6 crusader Kinzinger interviewed Epps and said that “Ray” was “just another misled man” who did nothing that could be prosecuted — meanwhile they’re putting grandmothers in jail for “parading” in the Capitol.)

Brittany Bernstein writes in National Review that recently appeared on David Axelrod’s podcast and complained that the crazies will try to impeach Biden “every week” if they take control in January.

Representative Adam Kinzinger (R., Ill.) claims Republican lawmakers will demand a vote to impeach President Biden “every week” if the GOP wins control of the House in the upcoming midterm elections.

“Back before we had all the crazies here — just some crazies — you know, every vote we took, we had to somehow defund ObamaCare. … You’ll remember, right when we took over it was we need to do the omnibus bill, but we’re not going to vote for it because it doesn’t defund ObamaCare,” Kinzinger said on an episode of CNN’s The Axe Files with David Axelrod, which was released Monday.

He went on to say that will “look like child’s play in terms of what” Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R., Ga.) demands of House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy if Republicans control the House.

“They’re going to demand an impeachment vote on President Biden every week,” Kinzinger said.
