Some people still believe Rebekah Jones is a 'whistleblower' even in September of 2022

As you might know, serial fabulist Rebekah Jones is running for the seat currently occupied by Rep. Matt Gaetz. Jones is the so-called “whistleblower” who proved that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was underreporting coronavirus deaths to make the state look better. Her story has been debunked a thousand times over. This spring, National Review Online’s Charles C. W. Cooke shredded the Miami Herald for spending two years laundering her lies in a comprehensive takedown.

People are still buying into the myth, even in September 2022. (Note: Double-check any post by someone with “resister” in their Twitter handle.)

People have been so conditioned to hate DeSantis they actually believe Jones is a hero, even today. They’re even going to vote for her to Congress. Blame the media for letting her “story” get so much air in the first place.
