Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen obviously didn’t get the memo: The White House is no longer calling it the Inflation Reduction Act … it’s now the “climate, health care, and tax” package that the president signed. You’d think that Yellen would be trying to convince us of how the new law will reduce inflation, but she instead focused on the billions being put toward clean energy. On Thursday she said that the Inflation Reduction Act will put us on our way toward a future where we depend on the wind and the sun. We can all see how well that’s working out for California.
