Doesn’t Twitter have all sorts of fact-checking partners to make sure that the platform is free from misinformation? Earlier this month, Rep. Pramila Jayapal marked the eighth anniversary of the “murder” of Michael Brown by Officer Darren Wilson. (A couple of years earlier, Vice President Kamala Harris had also noted the anniversary of his murder.) The complicating factor here is that Wilson was cleared of all charges by President Barack Obama’s Justice Department, headed by Eric Holder. The medical examiner determined that Brown was charging Wilson when he was shot, proving the whole “Hands up, don’t shoot” claim was bogus.
Now it’s just a couple of weeks later, and gun control group Brady is marking the second anniversary of the murder of two men in Kenosha, Wisconsin by “a teen armed with an AR-15,” also known as Kyle Rittenhouse.
2 years ago today, a teen armed with an AR-15 traveled to #Kenosha, WI, and murdered Joseph Rosenbaum + Anthony Huber, and injured Gaige Grosskreutz at a protest against the police shooting of #JacobBlake.
We must #BanAssaultWeapons to prevent senseless violence like this. pic.twitter.com/mHqs5KG5BZ

Senseless violence? We saw the video from several angles, and that “assault weapon” made a lot of sense in the circumstances. And we’re not sure we’d want to be sued by Rittenhouse for calling him a murderer after he was found not guilty on all counts last November.
He didn't murder anyone, but I'm not surprised that a gun control group is defending a convicted child molester, a domestic abuser, and an illegally-armed abuser who used to beat up his grandma. Yeah, I don't think I'm going to let you ban my commonly-owned rifle, thanks. https://t.co/rAup2tKHK2

I love reporting misinformation to Twitter, although I'm certain nothing will be done about this tweet…

He literally ran from the first guy, turned around to show him he had a gun, kept running, and finally had to shoot him because the guy tried to take his gun. The second guy bashed him over the head with a skateboard, then came back to do it again. Third guy pointed a gun at him.

Speaking of "remembering"…nice how you just expect everyone to forget that Kyle Rittenhouse was shooting in self defense while being attacked by those three ANTIFA thugs.

A court and a jury found him not guilty..
2 dead tried to grab his legally owned rifle, a 3rd pointed a pistol at him.
I hope he adds you to his libel list…— 🇺🇸 𝕵𝖚𝖘𝖙𝕯𝖆𝖛𝖊 🇺🇸 (@TxLobo) August 25, 2022
You should be made insolvent through litigation for this tweet

Less than 1 year ago today, a teen who was found not guilty of said crimes, started suing people who had defamed him.

We know you were opposed to lawful self-defense but wow. Talk about saying the quiet part out loud.

Great ratio here.
— D. F. (@Fuchs4Senate) August 25, 2022
I really appreciate that you're straight up admitting that you just hate the idea of people defending themselves.
— Bullpup Appreciator 🇺🇸 (@Hoplophile223) August 25, 2022
He was found not guilty by a jury of his peers. Those “mostly peaceful” protestors were burning down buildings and were threatening and actively trying to kill Rittenhouse too. By the way, even if we banned “assault weapons” Rittenhouse would’ve done it with a handgun.

This type of fact twisting is why you are irrelevant.

We see that you side with pedos and criminals. Can’t say that I’m shocked.

Here is another one to add to your lawsuit list, @ThisIsKyleR

This sounds like an excellent way to get sued. Carry on.
— D (@Lord_Defect) August 25, 2022
Nice try. Just so we're clear, self defense is not a crime, nor is it murder.

12 jurors disagree with you. Hope you are enjoying the ratio. You should delete this tweet.

2 years ago a well trained teenager defended himself against unwarranted attackers and killed two people in self-defense of his life. Those two were wanted criminals and had a history of violent and illegal acts.

So Brady is claiming that Rittenhouse is a murderer and suggesting that they don’t believe in self-defense. We can’t even count the number of lies spread about Rittenhouse that we’ve covered, but it looks like Brady just wants to get sued.
It’s also a nice touch that Brady made up a nice Twitter banner reading “Remember Kenosha,” because obviously, they don’t.
