In case you hadn’t heard, Beyoncé’s new album is out, but she’s already apologized and says they’ll “fix” it by removing an ableist term. It’s kind of remarkable how many people this song must have gone through before it was released, and not one of them had a problem with it. In case you were wondering, the word she used was “spaz.” Check out these awesome lyrics:
#Beyonce’s team has confirmed the offensive lyrics on the song “HEATED” will be removed, explaining that the word “spaz” was not "used intentionally in a harmful way." pic.twitter.com/yatiz9wXu3

We don’t know who Becca Beckery is, but her Twitter bio is something else: her pronouns are she/they, her cause is Black Trans Lives Matter, and she describes herself as bisexual, pansexual, and demisexual.

You should word search your own TL before you put out nonsensical compelled speech tweets.
— Freedom Recon (@FreedomRecon) August 2, 2022
Why should you do that? Everyone else gets insulted, so why should the psycho, crazy morons get a free pass?

No.
We have to stop worrying about upsetting everyone all the time.
People are getting afraid to communicate with each other because of stuff like this. We don't talk. We just offend or are worried about offending because of tweets like this.

Can you provide some non ableist insults because if you don't have some better ones for people to use instead you're kind of proposing not using insults
— Christopher Gadsden (@TrueHorror69) August 2, 2022
I’ll use whatever words I want.

The non-ableist word will become an ableist word within days of seeing wide usage, I promise you. It's how language works.

If you're at least 40 years old, you've been subject to politically corrected language your entire life. It helps nothing. Especially when a younger generation comes along and tells you it wasn't enough, b/c sadness has still not yet been eradicated.

Thank you for providing a list of words to use as sentence enhancers. It will come in quite handy.
— 🌵2022 Coach Crash (@Coach_Crash) August 2, 2022
this is idiotic and stupid
— Jessica O’Donnell (@heckyessica) August 2, 2022
Please…PLEASE tell me why each and every one of these words is ableist
75% of these words are a normal part of vocabulary, so detached from any sort of ableist meaning, that defining them becomes the same as defining coolIf you wanna virtue signal, back it up
— JackStache (@NotJackStache) August 2, 2022
Here's a word for you: Ratio

Becca probably should have scrubbed her timeline first before telling people what words they should stop using.
