We’ve seen some weird things when masks come together with musical instruments. Remember in 2021 when they stuck all of the school band members in little green tents?

And then there were the school concerts where they just cut holes in the masks for anyone playing a wind instrument.

We watched his YouTube video and we didn’t see him stick a mask on the bell of his trumpet, but he is indeed double-masked while playing. He’s got the surgical mask with a hold in it over the N95 mask with a hole in it.

Not going to lie, I'm actually impressed that you can play a trumpet while double masked. As far as wearing one myself, I'm not going to. But, if it helps you feel safe, you go ahead and do it. Just don't expect others to wear them just because you scold them.
