We never know whether to cover Samantha Bee, because we hate to give her the attention. We don’t watch her show, but the promos for it ever since Joe Biden was sworn in have been awfully tame — there just didn’t seem to be any material anymore since everything was going so great. She took some shots at Gov. Ron DeSantis, and now that the “fascist” Supreme Court has had a busy couple of weeks, she’s back into emergency mode. She’s like what people accused Jon Stewart of doing: clown nose on, clown nose off. Is she doing a bit today or are we supposed to be taking her seriously?
Just like Mad Maxine Waters, Bee doesn’t want Justice Samuel Alito to have any peace now that he’s joined in overturning Roe v. Wade. She tells her viewers that they have to raise hell in every restaurant he eats at for the rest of his life because Republicans have made “our” life a living hell.
