Glenn Greenwald gives an appreciation of Jennifer Rubin's live-tweeting of the January 6 hearing

We’re glad Glenn Greenwald alerted us to this, because it hadn’t occurred to us to follow the Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin Thursday during the January 6 select committee’s hearing. We’re sure she’s already written her column about it, but it’s fun to see the former conservative columnist react to what she was seeing. Chuck Schumer compared January 6 to Pearl Harbor, George Will compared it to 9/11, and President Joe Biden called it “the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.” You’d think Rubin was watching the Hindenburg catch fire.

We haven’t been this horrified since Dave Weigel retweeted that joke.
