Rolling Stone reports that survivors are 'sickened' by the Amber Heard verdict, survivors disagree

In case you missed it, Johnny Depp essentially won his defamation lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard; the jury found that Heard must pay Depp $10 million in compensatory damages. Over at The Root, black women are claiming to be the real losers in the trial, but according to Rolling Stone, which knows a thing or two about defamation after falsely accusing several college students of gang rape, they’re reporting that domestic violence survivors are “sickened” by the verdict.

Rolling Stone even consulted an “expert” who said that “this is basically the end of #MeToo.”
