The New York Times has uncovered a big problem, and they’ve even enlisted Zach Levitt (he/him), their map-making guy, to draw up a map to show you just how serious this problem is. It seems that millions of women — birthing persons — of reproductive age live closer to a crisis pregnancy center than they do to an abortion clinic. Giving us the grim truth behind these crisis centers are Carly Thomsen and Carrie N. Baker. It seems these centers have an agenda.
Over 16 million women of reproductive age in the U.S. currently live closer to a crisis pregnancy center than to an abortion facility. In a post-Roe America, that number would more than double, write Carly Thomsen, @CarrieNBaker and @zachwlevitt. https://t.co/zfT1rbKr9Y

And? It’s pretty crazy that there are so many crisis pregnancy centers considering Americans overwhelmingly are pro-abortion, we’ve been told.
Why is that a problem?

That is excellent news!

"We're pro-choice!"
"Well, not that choice."
— Baconlord (@48lawyer) May 12, 2022
Do you want them to have a choice or not?

Not “choice” … decision. The new talking points are out.

As of 2020, there were over 64 million women between the ages of 15-44 in the US. This means that 48 million, or 75%, either live closer to an abortion provider or the same distance from a crisis pregnancy center. Nice framing guys…

Excuse me… Planned Parenthood has an “agenda” too… profiting off of the dead babies they murder.

Imagine thinking this is a bad thing

this is the sort of headline you write when the editorial staff has zero diversity of thought.

Excellent. Doing better America, keep it up!

We’re actually pretty impressed that they called them abortion facilities rather than “women’s reproductive care” facilities.
