MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace says January 6 made Vladimir Putin's 'minor incursion' into Ukraine easier

So the theory on the table is that had the events of January 6 succeeded, Russian president Vladimir Putin would have been “massively emboldened” to invade Ukraine. MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace obviously agrees, saying that the Capitol riots made everything about invading Ukraine easier for Putin. Funny, though, how Putin invaded Ukraine under President Barack Obama and President Joe Biden but not under President Donald Trump. So what emboldened Putin when Obama was in the White House? The refusal to send lethal aid to Ukraine?

Yeah, Biden’s line about a “minor incursion” by Russia being OK probably gave Putin some confidence.
