Again, we don’t usually do posts on Twitter randos unless something they say really triggers a response. There’s a fiction on the Left that conservatives only care about a child up until the point that it’s born, and then they stop caring — caring about other people’s kids, that is. They oppose the government stepping in and taking what they traditionally see as the role of the father, providing parental leave, child care, food, housing, college, etc.

I was adopted by pro life parents. My wife and I would also adopt except that we don't have the money available to do so at this time in our lives. If adoption were more affordable then it would happen more.

I’m not sure if you’re looking for contrary stories, but a pro-life family I knew about adopted 8 kids from the same family after their mom died, to avoid them having to split up. They went on to adopt even more kids through the years too
