Libs of Tik Tok thinks CNN+'s Brian Stelter is giving her too much credit but will happily accept it

As Newsbusters’ Nicholas Fondacaro pointed out earlier this week, Brian Stelter, in an episode of “Reliable Sources Daily” this week on breakout subscription service CNN+, had on as a guest one of those purple-haired teachers who’d been featured by Libs of Tik Tok and who claimed, without pushback, “Kids are dying because of this!” (Remember when CNN got clever with its chyrons like, “Trump Claims … (Without Evidence)”?) Stelter himself said that Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law was “a life and death issue” (without evidence).

He was so fired up, he marched right back to his office (for now) and typed up a post on how the root of the conflict between Disney and Gov. Ron DeSantis was perfectly clear: “GOP backlash to LGBTQ equality.”

It’s only because of Fondacaro that anyone saw Stelter’s show, and the woman behind Libs of Tik Tok eventually caught up with the segment, which said that her account “even helped inform Florida’s recent parental rights law.”

Exactly. “Parent’s rights” have been in the Left’s sights for a while now.

Just before lightning struck the transmitter.

As Twitchy noted, in his piece for CNN’s website, Stelter finally called the Parental Rights in Education bill by its actual name — but only after lowercasing it and putting “scare quotes” around it.
