We have to go back and give a prize to NewsBusters’ Curtis Houck, who correctly guessed all the way back in December that Chris Wallace was quitting his gig at Fox News to move to CNN’s paid subscription service, CNN+.
#BREAKING: Chris Wallace announces he's QUITTING Fox News and 'Fox News Sunday.' Today was his last show.
My bet? He's going to CNN+.

We probably figured out that maybe Fox News wasn’t the best fit for debate moderator Wallace after he called Jen Psaki “one of the best press secretaries ever” last October.
There were reports this February that Wallace was “irate” with the situation at CNN, what with Jeff Zucker resigning in scandal. “Wallace feels he has been stiffed,” said a source. “He’s got no staff, no executive producer, and the guy he gave up a prized gig for has just walked out the door.” What Wallace did have, though, was a show on CNN+, but as CNBC just reported, CNN+ is drawing fewer than 10,000 daily viewers. CNN really fell apart just as Wallace decided to jump ship.
SOURCE: Chris Wallace is "having daily breakdowns" over the "miserable launch" of @CNNplus. Wants a "CNN show or is threatening to walk" they go on. "He is having staffers count how many times a day his promo is playing"

He's right where he belongs with the appropriately sized audience. The "new" CNN should not give him a show. They should learn from his diva behavior and run as far away from him as possible.

At his age you either finish your career at Fox or retire. You don't blame "Tucker Carlson" for why you can't stay with Fox only to join Brian Steltar.

We do too, and we really have very little reason to doubt it. CNN must have promised Wallace big things to get him on board.
