As we just reported, expert Tom Nichols is upset with CNN for its chyron attributing to President Joe Biden, “Putin cannot stay in power,” when Biden ended his speech in Poland by saying that Vladimir Putin “cannot stay in power.” Another Biden voter, the Lincoln Project’s Rick Wilson, is going full-speed ahead trying to defend the line that the White House has already walked back. Are we supposed to think Biden saying that Putin cannot remain in power is a bad thing?

This is a whole lot of flailing to defend something that the White House immediately had to clarify.
If you want to argue Biden's gaffe came from a place of decency, fine. But "what about Trump?" isn't a defense. If you don't think it was a mistake, make that argument. But it seems obvious to me this was a blunder and the only real question is how big. We get 1 POTUS at a time.
