As Twitchy reported, there wasn’t just a Republican response to President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address Tuesday night; there were two Democratic responses as well, one from Rep. Colin Allred representing the Congressional Black Caucus, and one from Rep. Rashida Tlaib, representing the fringe-left of the party. Also following up the SOTU was a Twitter Spaces meeting hosted by White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain and featuring special guests, like Twitter troll accounts Meidas Touch and Occupy Democrats.
NBC News’ Chuck Todd is sad that the left-wing doesn’t have an echo chamber like the right-wing does — why are Democrats so bad at following talking points? As Mary Katherine Ham reports, someone on Klain’s Twitter Spaces meeting asked something similar: How do Democrats address “kitchen table” issues like inflation?
I’m listening in on this Ron Klain Twitter Spaces thing and he gets a question about how to make sure regular American folks are getting the message about kitchen-table issues, and he responds:
“Well, I’m doing Twitter Spaces, aren’t I?”
Which is such a Ron Klain answer.

Is he truly so out of touch that he thinks more Twitter is how to do messaging?

His boss was just given an hour on every single network to update America on kitchen table issues, and they still had Klain do a Q&A afterward.
