We get what white progressives are trying to do with Latinx, which is taking a gendered language and neutering it into a word that most Hispanics dislike and some even consider a racial slur. We don’t get what Northwest Missouri State University is doing with “womynx.” Nevertheless, they’re going to celebrate Womynx History Month with the theme of “Providing Healing, Promoting Hope.”

The primary topic of the 3/21 Mental Wellness Workshop should focus on the term 'womynx' and the pathology held by those who use it.

Wombat? Did you mean to type Wombat?

I’m not sure breeding a wombat with a lynx is such a good idea.

It's amazing how all the gains of feminism are being rolled back while the very concept of femininity is being erased.

This is actually incredibly insulting to women. Stop blurring the gender lines, it takes away our identity as women. Just stop with this “womynx” crap.

I thought this was a parody account. Imagine my surprise at discovering it's a real school.

It’s got to be some kind of attempt to include trans women, but we’re not sure how this spelling does that. Even the school’s website can’t make up its mind whether it’s women’s or womynx.
