We’re still scratching our heads as to that the emergency was that required Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to invoke the Emergencies Act, other than his COVID-fueled overreach being challenged by the masses. Now Trudeau is waiting on Parliament to vote to extend the Emergencies Act, and any Parliamentarian who doesn’t is indicating they don’t trust the government to make important decisions.
Prime Minister Trudeau calls out those who vote against extending the Emergencies Act is: "indicating they don't trust the government to make incredibly momentous and important decisions at a very difficult time"https://t.co/cTm6cKHpsA pic.twitter.com/cLHZ7FRoB5

Trudeau says that if any Parliamentarian votes against the Emergency Act tonight, it is saying that they do not trust the Government of Canada.

And?
True. And with good reason.
— Trevor Bauknight (@tzbauknight) February 21, 2022
Yes, Justin, that is precisely right. They don’t trust the government.
— Brocephus (@Brocephus6) February 21, 2022
Uh yes, that’s right. People do not, and should not, trust the government.
— Vincent Sodenkamp (@VSodenkamp) February 21, 2022
Why would anyone just trust the government?
— Valerie Weisenfeld (@VWeisenfeld) February 21, 2022
He’s actually right about something for once. Chalk one up for the substitute teacher.

We don't trust you with extraordinary powers. Repeal the emergency and give us our rights back.
— Surya (@Hoju89) February 21, 2022
I personally don’t know anyone who trusts the government to make important decisions. Most people just want to be left alone.
— Sovereign Dad (@SovereignDad) February 21, 2022
Yeah I wouldn’t trust them either after that. He’s kind of proven that recently
— Nish (@da_buffalo_nish) February 21, 2022
Trudeau following his villain story arc to a tee.

Says the guy who has caused everyone to distrust the government.

If you need "emergency" powers for well over two years, you are clearly terrible at your job.
— Andy Schreiber (@andy_schreiber) February 21, 2022
I would like to indicate that I don't trust this abomination who identifies as "PM", nor his "government", to make ANY decision at ANY time. The "he's just not ready" ad from years ago was an understatement of epic proportions. #Resign

I wonder if he will freeze all the bank accounts that vote NO
— lyingleftist (@lyingleftist) February 21, 2022
How long until their bank accounts get frozen I wonder
— PrivacyMatters (@privmatters101) February 21, 2022
I don't trust the government to make those kinds of decisions even in the most easy of times.
— Finnish Space Force and Polish Space Force Aux (@NotThatGuyTX) February 21, 2022
Man does this wreak of desperation.
— Trevor Thistle (@ttbaldy) February 21, 2022
What has the Canadian government done recently to gain people’s trust that it can handle anything?
