Sorry we’re still talking about President Biden’s press conference, but it’s the first one he’s had in months, and it was a disaster. We didn’t think there could be anyone more obsequious than the Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin, who only gave Biden an A-, but then we found Andrew Feinberg. He knows in his heart the press conference was a disaster, but like Rubin, the problem isn’t with Biden but with us and the media. If anything, Biden’s too articulate.
Watching @POTUS, the one thing that strikes me is that he's articulate and detailed in a way that is completely inappropriate for today's media environment and easily weaponized by his opponents to make him look addled and weak.
— Andrew Feinberg (@AndrewFeinberg) January 19, 2022
Yes, it’s very easy to make him look addled and weak. Just put him behind a podium.
Or to put it another way, he's talking like a print newspaper guy in a TikTok world. It's a speaking style that doesn't work so hot when people have short attention spans and respond best to memes and soundbites.
— Andrew Feinberg (@AndrewFeinberg) January 19, 2022
You see, we’re the problem.
The inability of Biden's comms team to synthesize sound bite-sized slogans (remember "Bin Laden is dead and GM is alive?") and short answers he can give is going to be a problem if they can't learn to do it before the midterms.
— Andrew Feinberg (@AndrewFeinberg) January 19, 2022
So if Democrats get hammered in the midterms, it’s because Biden’s too articulate.
Malarkey.

He is addled and weak. He doesn't need his opponents to highlight that fact, he's doing a fine job highlighting it himself.

Have you lost your mind? Did somebody pay you to post this? Are you listening to this news conference? Are you on drugs?

"He's so articulate that he comes off as inarticulate" is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

I have been on twitter since 2011. This might be the dumbest fucking thing I have ever read on this platform. I also follow those two peaches AOC and Joy Reid but this one takes the cake pal.

Biden’s going to need to learn to dumb it down before the midterms if he doesn’t want the TikTok media to make him look addled and weak.
