Remember a year ago, when Vice President-elect Kamala Harris said that her family’s Kwanzaa celebrations were some of her happiest memories, although due to COVID-19, her family would be celebrating Kwanzaa over Zoom. “The whole family would gather around across multiple generations and we’d tell stories and light the candles,” Harris recalled. People asked her to post photos of some of those multigenerational gatherings, you know, just to celebrate the season.
This year she once again shared her fond memories of Kwanzaa celebrations:
Our Kwanzaa celebrations are some of my favorite childhood memories.
As families across the United States light the red, black, and green candles of the Kinara this week, our family sends our wishes and blessings for a happy and healthy new year.

Maybe they’re just going for the “big tent” approach, but the Ohio Republicans posted their own Kwanzaa greeting this year:

You will gain ZERO votes for this stupid virtue signaling and deserve the ratio.

Talk to the issues that minorities consider important. This is kinda lame and desperate.

Presumably posted by a staffer who celebrates neither Christmas nor Kwanzaa

Way to keep showing how out of touch with the base you really are.

I see the Republicans are getting an early start on totally destroying the advantage they have heading into 2022 midterms. Sounds about right.

Ouch.
Festivus is more legit.

This is as legit as President Joe Biden sending out a Kwanzaa message.
