Editor of the Global Times Photoshops Hong Kong activist into QAnon Shaman hat, asks what patriotic Americans think

Hu Xijin is editor of the Global Times, a Chinese state newspaper, and he likes to troll Americans. He seems upset that Hong Kong activist Nathan Law was invited by President Joe Biden to speak at the State Department’s Summit for Democracy.

To discredit Law, Xijin is portraying him as Hong Kong’s counterpart to the QAnon Shaman, Jacob Chansley, who was recently sentenced to 41 months in prison for his part in the storming of the Capitol. What do you think of that, patriotic Americans?

“Patriotic Americans” aren’t buying it.
