We don’t see how what Israel is doing here is much different from New York City’s response to the coronavirus. New Yorkers were required to present proof of vaccination to attend concerts or sporting events … but out-of-town performers and athletes were exempt from the vaccine mandate, because science.
Now Newsweek is reporting that, due to the Omicron variant of COVID-19, Israel is banning foreign travelers, with the exception of contestants for the Miss Universe Pageant, which is scheduled in December. Newsweek’s Jack Dutton seems to think he’s caught Israel in a gotcha, and Dr. Eli David agrees.
Due to the new variant, Israel bans entry for all foreigners, expect participants in Miss Universe pageant.
