Woman explains that the racism black women experience makes white women's diets not work for them (video)

Apparently, there’s a show on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network called “Black Women OWN the Conversation,” and from the small sample we’ve witnessed, it might be worse than “The View.” In a recent episode, Brittney Cooper explained why black women don’t lose as much weight on the same diets as white women, and the theory is that the racism that black women experience — the struggle — makes the diets not work for them. We’re not members of the party of science, so we’re not going to judge.
