In a piece posted on CNN’s website the day after CNN aired a “documentary” on the coronavirus crisis, Stephen Collinson says CNN “requested comment from the former President’s office but has so far not received a response.” Well, Donald Trump has responded, but he didn’t bother with a statement sent to CNN. Instead, he released a statement to all the press calling Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx “two self-promoters trying to reinvent history to cover for their bad instincts and faulty recommendations, which I fortunately almost always overturned.”
