We had to check to see if this one was real, but yes, it’s PolitiFact complete with the blue check of authenticity, and they’re giving a “pants on fire” rating to the claim that President Biden manipulated the weather to create the winter storm that’s now hitting Texas, perhaps using George W. Bush’s weather machine that he found in the White House basement.
President Biden did not manipulate the weather to create a winter storm that left millions without power in Texas https://t.co/lIFbfHi0bn

Weather machines only existed on General Hospital in the 80s. That's a soap opera, from my childhood.

Indeed. At one point the Ice Princess reduced the temperature in Port Charles to 170 below. #old

Dear god. It is depressing you had to do this. I’m sincerely sorry

They didn’t though. In fact, acting as though this deserves to be addressed at all is only likely make anyone who already believes it more likely to think it’s real.

Exactly. PolitiFact doesn’t have to indulge every conspiracy theory that pops up online; imagine if it turned its attention to Biden’s policies and not his weather machine.
Slow day for fact checking? Thought this was the @TheBabylonBee for a split second ?

Um…did someone suggest he did? ?

By broadcasting this ‘fact check’, you are not doing a service, you are amplifying an obviously nonsense conspiracy theory. This is counter to your mission and unproductive.

Their mission being to spin Democratic failures and broken promises.
But who actually thought this was a thing? NOBODY! Joe can barely whisper and touch his face & mask a thousand times ?

This is what @PolitiFact chooses to fact check in the Biden era.
